Rental Program
Bischofberger Violins is proud to offer the best instrument rental program in the Greater Seattle area. Whether you need a violin, viola or cello, we have all sizes for all ages.
Our instruments are professionally set up and well cared-for to provide the most positive learning experience, and our knowledgeable staff has the expertise to match each student with the best instrument.
Rental fees listed here do not include tax, insurance, or the replacement of broken strings. There is a one-time, refundable deposit required at the time of rental.

An optional insurance protection plan is available for $10.00 for three months. It covers the instrument for damage and/or loss due to theft or fire. There is a deductible of $75 for violins and violas and $150 for cellos. All repairs of rental instruments and bows must be done through Bischofberger Violins, Ltd.
Bischofberger Violins Rental Credit Program
Bischofberger Violins offers a great way to purchase an instrument of your choice: we give rental credit towards the purchase of any instrument in our shop.
For violins and violas, the first nine months' rent paid may be applied towards the purchase of any instrument in our shop. For cellos, the first nine months' rent paid may be applied towards the purchase of any cello in our shop. Please also see our great trial program. Try the instruments before you buy one — until you find the right one.
